There are many things you can do to create a fun party in the fall and here are just a few ideas to get the ball rolling and hopefully inspire more of your own ideas too!
Night Garden Party
Now this could be such an enchanting party with lanterns or strung outdoor lights, if its warm enough outside. Candles on tables to give a nice evening glow, soft music or other entertainment, food table with fun summertime desserts, or an ice cream station for sundaes with a variety of toppings.
Scavenger Hunt
This would be great to invite families to join in. The kids or grandkids can help find the treasures or look for clues. Sketch out maps that everyone can use to find items you hide. These could be based on a theme or a holiday.
Pick-a-Pumpkin, Carving Party
Visit a pumpkin patch and let everyone pick out a pumpkin of choice. This is a great field trip to get out and enjoy the crisp fall air. Come on back and everyone paint or carve their own pumpkin!
Corn Maze Party
Prepare a field trip to visit a local corn maze. You could offer prizes for the person who gets through the maze the quickest or who wears the best costume. When you all return have a bonfire to roast hotdogs and make s’mores!
Carnival Party
Put together several games and activities and turn it into a carnival. You can include apple bobbing, fishing for prizes, races, and other fun themed games.
